Teen Girls Invent Drowning Prevention T-Shirt For Toddlers

A group of teen girls from an Arizona high school have invented the Watawescue, a drowning prevention T-shirt for toddlers that inflates and produces an alarm when drenched with water, as in the case of a child accidentally falling into a pool. Their invention earned them a spot in the 2012-2013 InvenTeams Program, a Lemelson-MIT initiative aimed at getting high-school students excited about invention within the STEM fields....
