104-year-old Grace Brett is a member of a secret band of “yarnstormers,” who have bombed their town in artful knitting. The guerrilla knitters, who call themselves the Souter Stormers, hit various landmarks in Selkirk, a town in the Scottish Borders Council district in southeastern Scotland, as part of the YES (Yarrow – Ettrick – Selkirk) Arts Festival last week.

“I thought it was a really good idea to decorate the town and enjoyed having my crochet included. I liked seeing my work showing with everyone else and thought the town looked lovely.”

Boy is it ever!

A lovely interview with Grace
