Experts are now estimating that between 3.3 and 4.6 million people participated in the over 550 Women’s Marches held in towns and cities across America on Saturday, January 21, 2017. What must be added to that already record-making number – the Women’s March is now the largest protest in United States history – are the hundreds of thousands of marchers who took to the streets in more than 100 cities around the world. And thanks to our Women You Should Know readers who submitted photos from their local Women’s Marches in 17 different countries, we now have a visual archive of this inspiring show of global solidarity in the fight for women’s rights and equality for all.

Here are 33 of those images that capture the spirit and magnitude of the day.
