Jewelry designer and goldsmith Ola Shekhtman learned her craft as a student living in St. Petersburg, Russia. The Siberian native, who has lived all over the globe, combines her love of travel with her incredible talent in these delightful, 3D modeled Cityscape rings.
After six years in St. Petersburg, Ola moved to Israel, and 2 years ago relocated to the U.S. So far, she has lived in Virginia, Maryland and New York City. Currently, Ola is residing in North Carolina along with her husband and kitty cats.
As a goldsmith, Ola has always crafted her jewelry pieces the old-fashioned way – melting metal, rolling, sawing, soldering and polishing by hand. That was until she discovered 3D technology. When living in NYC, Ola took several 3D modeling courses, which completely changed the way she approaches her current work. “This new technology gives me full freedom in creation, and I am able to turn absolutely everything I dream, into a Thing.”
The Cityscape collection features popular monuments and landmarks of major cities around the world, including New York, Hong Kong, San Francisco, London, Berlin, Washington D.C., Charleston, Boston, Amsterdam, Stockholm, and Edinburgh, among many others.
Prices start at $69, and go up from there, depending on the material (platinum, gold, sterling silver, gold plated, rhodium, brass or bronze) selected.
