While the makers describe Bro Away as “a bro’s worst nightmare”, MoveOn’s chief public affairs officer, Karine Jean-Pierre, who was moderating the discussion with Sen. Harris, needs no special spray to repel mic-stealing bros. As you see in the clip we posted from Saturday’s event, while security seemingly took their time in responding, Karine sprang into immediate action to protect the Senator, physically shielding Harris while blocking the protestor.
