Last night, Stephen Colbert transported himself to July 4, 1776, via satellite, to share the news of Hillary Clinton’s historic achievement as the first woman presidential nominee of a major political party with two female delegates from the Second Continental Congress – Josephine Hindley and Abitha Whitmore (as played by Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson of Broad City).
