Today, Friday the 13th, the final trailer for Stranger Things 2 was released. Against the backdrop of Halloween night, it delivers a spooktacularly palpable level of anticipation, intrigue and mystery, sets the stage for the return of Eleven (as played brilliantly by Millie Bobby Brown), introduces the evil Shadow Monster, and makes us want it to be October 27… right now.

Here’s what we know about the storyline of the highly-anticipated second season of the Emmy award-winning series (18 noms in all)… “It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.”

The first trailer for Stranger Things 2 was unveiled at Comic Con in July. It was “ripe with suspense and more awesome 80s nostalgia” set to the velvety evil sound of Vincent Price in Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”.

Stranger Things 2 has its streaming premiere on Netflix October 27, 2017.

For Barb Fans…

It was sadly confirmed at Comic Con that fan fave Barb (Shannon Purser) will not be returning from the Upside Down this season. But don’t despair entirely as this little nugget of hope was offered by the show’s panel, “There will be justice for Barb.”
