We continue to be inspired by the bravery, strength and resilience shown by the student survivors of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, as they continue to be the voices for those who were senselessly silenced, demand action, and lead the March For Our Lives movement. With this fearless spirit, members of the school’s drama club wrote a song they call “Shine,” which they performed at the CNN Town Hall on gun policy in America last night.
But you’re not gonna knock us down
We’ll get back up again
You may have hurt us but I promise we are stronger and
We’re not gonna let you win
We’re putting up a fight
You may have brought the dark
But together we will shine the light
