Actor Kristen Bell channels her inner Mary Poppins in this hilarious new video for Funny or Die. She sings, dances, performs magical feats, and keeps a smile on her face while raising a banker’s kids, for minimum wage pay.

Today marks five years since the last time Congress raised the federal minimum wage from $6.55 to $7.25 an hour. Since that time, the minimum wage has stayed exactly the same, while the cost of living has continued on an upward trajectory.

“The pay is too low, I can’t live on this dough. Just a 3 dollar increase can make a living wage, can make a living wage…make a living wage.”

A full-time, minimum wage employee makes $15,080 per year. To put that in perspective, the federal poverty line for a family of four is $23,850.

According to The White House Council on Women and Girls, more than half of the workers who would benefit from an increase in the minimum wage are women.
