“I teach a mix between Taekwondo, boxing, and pure self defense techniques. We also empower women through seminars and workshops like domestic violence, sexual harassment, assault and women’s empowerment.” – Lina Khalifeh, founder Shefighter

In 2010, after one of her friends was abused by her father and brothers, Lina, who has a background in self-defense, founded SheFighter, the first self-defense studio of its kind in the Middle East. In her Jordan-based studio, Lina teaches women to defend themselves while empowering them to have a voice in society. To date, more than 12,000 women have trained at SheFighter.
