Nora is a 17-year old from Canada who describes herself as “A Muslim girl who wears the hijab and prefers to wear long/loose things that go below the butt.”
So when she started to draw herself as her favorite comic book characters as part of the Tumblr Draw Yourself Challenge, she stayed true to her religious and style convictions. The results are pretty awesome.
Wonder Woman was a particular challenge for Nora. She explains, “She was difficult because she rarely covers any part of her body LMAO. So, I decided some more armor and stuff because a superhero would need to protect their body parts.” Are you listening David Finch?
