Jane Oranika, aka Chika, a rapper-songwriter from Montgomery, Alabama, rewrote the lyrics to Ed Sheeran’s mega hit Shape of You, and turned it into a Pride anthem.
Earlier this week Chika posted a 1-minute clip of the song to Twitter, in it she sings:
“I will not be ashamed. This is just who I am, and who I was meant to be. Right here I stand. I’m out on my own two feet. No, you will not tear me down. No my heart will not be bound. Sing it loud, sing it loud, I’m proud.”
