On her book tour promoting What Happened, Hillary Clinton stopped by the “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday to talk about current events, the book and a what the former Secretary of State has been up to since the 2016 election.
During the segment, Jimmy paused for a special edition of his “Thank You Notes” bit, where some of the show’s female writers, including Caroline Eppright, Becky Krause, Albertina Rizzo, Marina Cockenberg, and Jo Firestone, took to the stage to share their words of thanks with Hillary. The notes were heartfelt, but also hilarious!
“Thank you, Hillary, for all the work you’ve done for public health care. Ever since the election, I’ve really depended on my government subsidized anti-anxiety medication,” shared Jo Firestone.
Following a tearful note from celeb Miley Cyrus, Hillary took to the chair to share her own words of thanks.
“Together, we’ve made our voices heard, we’ve done great things, and we’ve come along way,” Clinton writes. “We can’t stop, and we won’t stop!”
